Ibn Sab’een

Abu Muhammad Qutb al-Din Abd al-Haqq ibn Ibrahim aka Morsi and Raquti was the great philosopher of Andalusia in the 7th century AH. He was informed of the sciences of his time including jurisprudence, hadith, theology, philosophy, mysticism, alchemy, medicine, mysteries of the letters and the science of numbers. He is the author of Al-Masa’il al-Saiqaliyya, Budd al-Arif, Risala al-Faqiriryya, and Risala al-Qawsiyya.

Yusuf Safadi

Yusuf ibn Hilal Safadi was the Hanafi physician, scholar and jurist of late 7th and early 8th century AH. He visited the poor patients for free and provided them with food and medicine giving priority to the poor over the wealthy patients. He is the author of Kashf al-Asrar wa Hatk al-Astar, Arjuza fi al-Khalaf bayn Abi Hanifa wa al-Shafi.

Mirza Ali Hamadani

Mirza Ali-khan Hamadani was the chief physician of the Nasserid era. He was the special physician of Kamran Mirza Nayib al-Saltana, the chief physician and surgeon and druggist, head of the military department of health, and chief of the Iranian physicians. He rendered the translation of Ihya’ al-Atfal Nasseri, Amrad Asabani, Jawahir al-Hikma, and Amrad Niswan.
